faq

Send us your portfolio (PDF or link), a short bio, and a clear project proposal. We are less interested in polished outcomes and more interested in conceptual direction, process, and urgency. Tell us what you want to say — and why now.
We focus on emerging and experimental contemporary practices. We are interested in research-driven work, strong artistic positioning, and projects that are willing to take risks.
No. Our space does not operate as a simple rental venue. Every exhibition is part of our curatorial direction and developed through dialogue. Each exhibition involves a contribution to its production and communication (printed matter, digital promotion, advertising actions, documentation, etc.). We do not rent walls. We co-produce projects and invest in their public visibility. During the official exhibition period, the gallery operates on a commission basis for any sales generated. The commission percentage is discussed openly and mutually agreed upon with the artist prior to the exhibition and applies exclusively to works sold within that specific timeframe. We are committed to transparency, clear agreements, and professional standards in every collaboration.
Depending on the project, collaboration may include: Curatorial guidance, communication strategy and promotion, printed and/or digital material production, networking with collectors and professionals, opening events and public programming. Our aim is to build a complete presentation — not just hang works on a wall.
When there are strong alignment and mutual commitment, long-term collaboration may develop organically. We value continuity and growth.
We present emerging contemporary artists whose practices are engaged with research, experimentation, and critical positioning. The program emphasizes new voices and evolving practices.
Absolutely. We support new collectors who wish to engage in contemporary art thoughtfully. We are happy to guide you based on your aesthetic direction, space, and budget.
Yes. We work with architects, interior designers, and hospitality projects for art placement when the integration of artwork is conceptually aligned with space.
“On Request” indicates that the price or availability is provided upon inquiry, often due to limited editions, special handling requirements, or ongoing exhibitions.
An “open edition print” is a reproduction of an artwork with no set limit on the number of copies produced, allowing it to be printed indefinitely based on demand. These prints are generally more affordable, unsigned, and unnumbered, making them ideal for casual buyers rather than high-end collectors.
A limited-edition artwork is produced in a fixed number of copies, determined by the artist. Each piece is numbered (e.g. 3/12) and typically signed.
An Artist Proof is a small number of additional works reserved for the artist, outside the main edition. These are considered collectible and may be marked as “AP”.
Yes. All works offered through our shop are original artworks or limited editions, sourced directly from the artist or their studio.
Yes. All artworks are accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity issued by “SOL by Elephant Design” and/or the artist.
Most works are signed by the artist. If work is unsigned, this will be clearly stated in the artwork details.
Private appointments can be arranged upon request.
Yes. We are happy to provide additional photographs, videos, or detailed views upon request.
Some artists may accept custom variations. Availability depends on the artist’s practice and production timeline. All artworks or products presented on our website are either available or made to order. Delivery time depends on the specific characteristics of each item and its production process.
Yes. We respect collector privacy and treat all purchases and inquiries with strict confidentiality.
