Irene Daskalopoulou is the creator of Hommetry.
Since her very early years, Irene simply had to wrap her head and hands around something. Knitting, embroidery, driftwood sculptures, unexpected light shades… any ordinary, even boring material that can be turned into something beautiful and useful, that’s what gets her going!
She believes that fashion can be organic and by good fortune, Irene has an organic relationship with fashion. As a child of a seamstress, she never wore something off the shelf; she learned to appreciate the vintage as much as the experimental. “When I find a piece of clothing that has traveled in time, it is pure joy! I may need to work on it; to transform it, the magic of time will always be there!”

Hommetry is a showroom of artwork and crafmanship. It brings art in daily life, much as a lot of famous fashion brands do, but with a great difference: each and every one of Hommetry featured items is handmade, original and unique.
