Iraklis Kougemitros
Iraklis Kougemitros was born in Athens, Greece where he still works and lives.
He has studied music technology and saxophone, and since 2009 photography has become an essential mean to express himself.

He has taken part in International photo contests with great success and was a finalist in the street photography category. Some of the most important competitions are:

Iraklis is a self-taught photographer and likes to capture on his camera elements of the urban environment. For him, detail is important and plays a leading role, while humans are most often present in his frames as figures. His main tools are shadow, color and geometry˙ with photography he always tries to tell short stories and through that to explain and redefine “the meanings”.
