aboutSLICE OF LIFE is a new type of arts organization that promotes several branches of creative activity by artists.

SOL by ELEPHANT DESIGN is an Athens-based collaboration space by Eleni Sfantou and Panos Alexiou, who have come together to share their passion for art and design.
As Elephant Design, we are always looking for ways to improve our expressivity, enhance creativity, experimentation, and collaboration, and offer artists the time and space to promote their work. So, we introduce the “SLICE OF LIFE” project, a curatorial project, a "workshop", and an exhibition space in which artists and creators are welcome to participate.
We ourselves are deeply inspired by art, which can and does influence our design process.
Our creative team brings together young architects, graphic designers, video artists, and other creators in the visual arts, embracing contemporary art.
Our concept design brand creates, distributes, and produces artworks, decorative objects, and furniture of high aesthetics, premium quality, and available in a limited number of copies.
All presented work is designed, handcrafted, and produced by our partners and us in Greece.

We are not a neutral exhibition space. We are not a white cube for rent. We are not interested in safe aesthetics. SOL operates as a testing ground. A space where ideas are exposed before they solidify. Where emerging artistic thought is presented with intention and risk.

We support artists who are in process. Collectors who seek direction rather than certainty.
Works that do not conclude a conversation - but initiate one.

Presentation here is not decoration. It is a public position.
